At dltledgers, we are looking for a Self starter, A SALES LEADER  to join one of the fastest growing cross border trade digitisation platform globally. You will have proven track record with commercial banking or Trade finance leadership in a large FSI/trade house and sell an incredibly versatile solution that is helping international trade digitisation on global scale.

In this role, you will be a key contributor to dltledgers’s revenue growth while driving change as a market disruptor.  

Core Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the CEO  (Chief executive officer ), you will work with our Sales Development Reps, Pre-sales Consultants and Customer Success Team to build customer value and drive new business onto the dltledgers platform. You may have up to 30 accounts in a defined geographic territory, mostly ‘greenfield’ accounts with few existing dltledgers customers.  A hunter, winning new logo accounts as well as expanding opportunities with more ecosystem; you will build large repetitive trade flows for large organisations while servicing trade finance and a digital wholesale banking operating with our partners.  

You Will Achieve This By

  • Servicing trade flows for our partner banks and supporting an eco-system growth strategy.
  • Engaging with targeted enterprise prospects, banks, global trade houses to identify broken business processes and position dltledgers unique ability to solve the problem
  • Building and defending dltledgers business value throughout the selling engagement. Navigating complex prospect environments to align the prospect around the dltledgers solution
  • Building and maintaining a pipeline of high-quality opportunities of large enterprise in import/export business.
  • Utilizing dltledgers value-based selling methodology and internal CRM to manage sales processes and accurately forecast business
  • Recruiting and leveraging partners and existing customers in your territory to build your dltledgers “franchise”

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience of relevant track record in a large wholesale banking or heading trade finance for a large commodity import / export business
  • Good working relationships with RMs and head of trade finance in regional and global banks.
  • Understand regional and global trade flows in a large cross border trading environment in MENA region
  • Develop and implement business strategies and initiatives with eco system partners for a relationship based selling process.
  • A hunter when it comes to closing deals with large trade houses and initiating these with good customer value propositions.
  • Manage and expand customer portfolio in and around MENA region
  • Exposure to digitisation, blockchain, RPA, trade networks and related
  • Astute knowledge and understanding of various types of international commodity trade and financing market;
  • Good network with business partners, including banks, ship-owners, IE MENA , insurance company;
  • Ability to maintain good relationships with commodity traders and understand the whole spectrum of their business financing needs, regardless of commodity type;
  • Decisive and firm leader.

More about you:

  • Min 10 years’ successful selling into large enterprise, global trade house space or selling to Banks
  • Exposure to selling solutions, either directly or through a commercial banking platform.
  • Strong network in your territory with both customers and partners
  • Consultative selling skills. Ability to understand and navigate through complex, large company environments
  • Good communication, Fluent in local languages.
